Potato Free Shepherd's Pie (Keto & Paleo friendly)
3 lbs ground beef
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup of soy sauce or alternative
1/2 cup of red wine
3 garlic cloves
salt, pepper and parsley
1 chopped onion
30 oz carrots and peas mix
1/4 cup white wine
For the pretending mash potatoes:
3 cauliflower heads
1/2 shredded cheese of choice
1 tbsp of butter
In a pan with some oil, cook the ground beef.
While this is cooking clean the cauliflower and add to boiling water. When soft, set it aside.
Add the rest of the 1st in ingredients to the ground beef and let simmer until it thickens a little. About 10 minutes.
Place in a large bowl and set aside.
In a pan with some oil cook the chopped onion.
Add the rest of the 2nd ingredients.
Put a lid on it and cook for about 10 minus or until cooked.
Mix in with the ground beef and pour it in a large casserole dish.
In a food processor purée up the cauliflower.
Fold in the rest of the mashed potato ingredients.
Scoop the cauliflower mixture on top the ground beef mixture and flatten well.
You may also add some extra cheese on top.
Bake in the oven at 400° F for about 20 min.
